Hi everyone,

I just bought my 23 Mach E GTPE on 5/22/24 the car did 2 OTA updates since I brought it home.

The first update done on 5/29/24 caused the FordPass App to stop working for about 2 day and automatically corrected itself.

The second update done on 6/5/24 caused the FordPass App to stop working along with all connectivity on the car.

When I drive the car after about 10 minutes I will get a service advc trac, 1 pedal drive fault, blind spot fault, cross traffic fault which clears after shutting the car off and on.

When running the bezel diagnostic: ECG: Disconnected, TCU: Disconnected ,Analytics Server: Disconnected,Cellullar: Disconnected, Wi-Fi: Disconnected, Instrument Cluster: Disconnected.

I tried pulling the fuse for the TCU and GWM as recommended in some of the other post and also the black harness under the fuses without any success.

I took a trip to the dealer, the technician connected to FDRS and said they ran all updates and showed no dtcs the car is still showing everything is disconnected and the faults are still coming up. The dealer said they have done everything they could on their end, the dealer reach out to Ford and they stated that the Gateway Module needs to be replaced to remedy the issues. So a new module is ordered.

Has anyone encountered this issue and what did the dealer do to fix the issue. It’s annoying that the car is only 2/3 weeks old and I’ve been to the dealer 3 times already.

Thank you!!

I'm amazed there wouldn't be any codes.
And if Ford told the dealership the vehicle needs a GWM, why would that not lead to a replacement?

If it really was the result of an OTA update, I bet there's a good chance that the issue can be resolved without replacing the module. It could just be a corrupt configuration and is fixable with either FDRS or Forscan, depending.

The dealer ordered the new GWM, they said it should take about 2 weeks to arrive.
That’s what I’m thinking it might have been a failed or corrupt OTA update. The service tech said they connected to FDRS and did everything they could on their end. That’s why they reached out to Ford to see what they recommended.
