I use an android phone, specifically a Samsung S22 Ultra. Previously had the Sansung S20. When I first bought my 2021 Mach E, album art displayed properly on the Sync 4. At some point, I think after a Sync software update, it stopped working. I've tried multiple music apps. Got the new phone, and still the same problem. My wife has an iPhone and the album art shows on the Sync 4 for her. Anyone else having this problem?

Update: If I plug in my phone via USB, art displays. This suggests there is nothing wrong with the mp3 ID tag or image format, but it doesn't get transmitted via Bluetooth for some reason.

Try force stopping the Android Auto app and clearing the cache. I like the artist album cover art, only if it was larger, in that window. You know they can do it because you can see a blurred out album cover art in the whole window screen and the smaller clear version of the album cover art overlay.

Thanks for the reply, fpasta. Alas, I am not using Andoid auto because I don't pay for the Ford WiFi and have limited cell phone data. I just connect via Bluetooth. As I mentioned above, album art displayed over Bluetooth when I first got the car. It still does for my wife's IPhone. I think it is a case of the Ford software not playing well with the Android OS, but don't know if there is anything I can do.

Sounds like an issue with the app used to play the music. Which are you using? (I use MediaMonkey and have no issues.)

Thanks, I can try that. I've tried Pulsar, Musicolet, and Samsung Music. None work. Pulsar used to work

I tried Media Monkey, and still no album art. Are you using Bluetooth vs Android Auto? What type of phone?

I have a Motorola Edge Plus (2022). I use AA on longer trips and plain Bluetooth locally -- MediaMonkey works both ways.
