Hi. I have a 2023 MME GTPE. I received the CSP 23B50 letter from Ford a few months back, with their disclaimer that if anything happens to my car during charging before I get the CSP, it's my fault...
I was hoping that an OTA update would have taken care of things by now, as they implied that this could be one way for it to be sorted out... I'm past November 2023 OTA updates, I think... and the CSP is still showing in my FordPass app and site.

I'm trying to avoid having NYC Ford dealers take care of this with a service call due to logistics and bad service.
Is there any chance or situation that this will be handled OTA, has it been resolved for anyone here that way?
Or am I looking at a dreaded mandatory dealer service visi to resolve this?

i just had 10k service today, and they did 23B50. i've been waiting for it to come OTA ever since the letter was released... i think this was 2-3 months ago now. my powerup updates stopped some time ago even though i'm nowhere near current, but i did receive a couple of OTAs since then - the tailgate fix and the Tesla charging compatibility update. so i have no idea what's going on.

unfortunately i think you might just have to take it in, that was my experience anyway.

I received notification last early fall and waited for OTA but it never happened. I think this is important enough that it should be done quickly. My dealer did it under warranty and updated modules at the same time. I think you should get it done.

I ended up taking the car to my selling dealer and it was probably for the best, they took care of 2 other software updates that weren't on my radar to do.

CSP 23B50 still shows for me in the FordPass App, but the car allegedly got the update today.
How does it get cleared in the app? Does Ford pull the service records overnight and then clear the App, or was someone supposed to do something somewhere to indicate that it was done?

Same question. I had my hvbjb recall done about a month ago, and supposedly did 23b50 then. Recall shoes cleared but Csp 23b50 still isnt cleared.

Same question. I had my hvbjb recall done about a month ago, and supposedly did 23b50 then. Recall shoes cleared but Csp 23b50 still isnt cleared.
Dealer probably didn't enter it into the system properly.

I had this happen, reached out to service advisor, he re-entered it in the system and it cleared after a week.

I spoke to the service advisor today, he didn't have a clue how this gets cleared from the FordPass app and Ford website, and checked his system again for the service performed on my car, it said that the service had been done. He suggested running the car some more.
I'll give it another week.

mine cleared right away, i think i checked it the next day. as posters have said above the dealer has to enter it into ford's system to mark that the recall/CSP has been performed, your dealer must not have done that properly.

The CSP indication in the app cleared today for me... it looks like Ford just needed about a day to pull the updated service records.
