BC and overhead tolls

Anyone notice on highways with overhead/at speed tolling that BC disengages and reverts to blue cloud?

any idea why? Was wondering if it’s some sort of law or something.

ive noticed this in both NY and NJ. About 1/8th mile before BC disengages and then reengages shortly after passing the Toll

Is that so you are legally driving while going through a toll booth? Were the lawyers concerned the tolls could be charged to Ford if BlueCruise was driving or something?

You know, I can certainly imagine a lawyer raising that as a concern, while the marketing guys roll their eyes and the software guys say, "No problem, I can fix it."

Its the vehicle that is assessed the toll and as the owner you are liable.
