I don’t know if modern blades allow for changing just the rubber part. That said, what people are reacting to is the length of the OEM wiper blades on these cars. The rear blade is particularly short. Lots of opinions on the various brands. I happen to be in the Bosch camp and think they’re excellent wiper blades.
All of our Hondas (past and present) allow us to simply swap out the inserts for a few bucks. Seems wasteful to have to change the whole kit and caboodle (if that is indeed the case with the Mach E).

That’s fine but it does not address the underlying Mach E issue of wiper blade length. That cannot be solved by simply attaching a longer rubber sweep that is not effectively pressured by an arm that’s too short for the sweep.

True, but the 15-inch blades work fine. They’re not so long that the short arm is a factor. I’ve been running the Trico 15s for 4 years now without an issue.

That’s good. Were you able to use only the 15” sweep insert in the Ford arm or did you need to change the whole arm? If the former, that is good. I use the 16” Bosch which I really like.

Same arm. It’s a different connection but works quite easily.

You get what you pay for…typically. It’s a wear item, keep an extra set in your trunk cause they all go bad suddenly - nice to have a replacement when you’re in need.

I have yet to change. The OEM lasted about 10 months which is long in my experience. Plan to replace front with OEM and back with longer Bosch.
