black high gloss 20" wheels

How much protection do the factor tires provide for the 20" black, high gloss wheels? Every care I have owned at some point gets a nasty curb scrape. Maybe if that happens a touch up with gloss paint would help hide it.

The tires won’t protect the wheels from curbs. Try not to hit them.
