I am fairly sure this topic has been posted but I’ll ask. 2023 MME GT I am not sure what version I’m on for blue cruise. Folks are saying 1.4 etc I’ve gone all over my car and only thing I can find is into I’ll post.
Any help would be appreciated

It’s by model year because it doesn’t say anywhere. 1.4 hasn’t been released yet for 2023s.
I have late model ‘24 (12/24). Do I likely have BC 1.3 or 1.4? It’s my first BC car, so not sure how to tell the difference.

You should have 1.3, I think the '25's jump to 1.5, no word yet if will see it on the older cars.

I believe 1.4 is on the Lightnings, but I think the EA was called 1.4 on our cars before we got updated to it's official release as 1.3... They do their best not to confuse anyone.

Ok thx! That seems to match up with a few other posts that mentioned EA 1.4 somehow becoming 1.3. So, do we think the current 1.3 incorporates the improvements of 1.4? Or did they, hopefully temporarily, revert back to the original 1.3? Yea, not confusing at all!!! ?

The BC 1.3 I got recently via OTA is a downgrade from BC 1.4. So no the OTA version 1.3 doesn’t incorporate the improvements of 1.4.

Ok thx! Begs the question - what happened to 1.4? Maybe they’re planning to skip straight to 1.5 at some point? I am enjoying 1.3 - but if 1.4 did actually smooth things out a bit, it would be welcomed.

1.4 was a beta version for the Mach-E. Yes, it was light years better than 1.3 is.

Doubt we’d get 1.5 anytime soon, it’s the selling point for the 25’s. Maybe we’ll get 1.4 in general release at some point, guess we’ll just wait and see.

My 2021 has stopped automatically changing my Blue Cruise speed when the speed limit changes. The speed limit sign on the dash changes, but the cruise speed does not change. After 3 years of using it I now find my self going over or under limits as I have been depending on the Blue Cruise to make the changes for me.

I have Sync 4 23352 Rev 1122

Can I get it back??

Yes, most likely the update reset your preferences. Go to:

Car menu > Driver Assistance > Cruise Control > Predictive Speed Assist

If it's off, turn it on. If it's on, toggle it off, then back on.

1.4 is in Lightnings. Mach E jumps 1.0 -> 1.3 -> 1.5.
