I personally would only hand fly the MME barreling along at those speeds anyway. Especially if other vehicles are changing lanes!
Ground Speed. Hand Fly. I’m dyin’ over here.

On topic, I have had to reboot the APIM while in flight to get it to re-engage. I have not had to do that more than twice in 10000mi.

I think the cutout at a certain speed is a good move on Fords’ part. You can go faster, but that’s on you.

For me it tells me to put my hands on the wheel when I go past 80. It still auto steers but not hands free. I’m on 1.0
Okay... I put your theory to the test on my way home from work. When driving 80, the ADAS worked perfectly (when not following another vehicle). Once I bumped the cruise speed to 81, it would disengage. Mystery solved! Thanks to everyone's input!!

Semantics... I called it "self-driving" mode and it got my point across. ? I am ALWAYS on high alert when using "ADAS". Thank you for the compliment on the car! I am enjoying it completely! ???
I only bring it up because there are an astonishing number of people who think BlueCruise (even hands-on) IS “self-driving” ?‍?

The only time that I’ve noticed my blue cruise not working was if I were driving east earlier in the morning before let’s say 11 o’clock. The sun is very bright hitting that windshield it worked off and on, if I went west on the same highway no issues.
