Bought a new 2023 GT PE two months ago and have the 3-month BlueCruise trial activated (and BC 1.3 is indicated on the window sticker). But, BlueCurise has not once worked. I've talked to Ford support twice have confirmed all settings, and have confirmed the roads I've tried BlueCruise on are mapped for BlueCruise. The first time I talked with Ford support, they indicated that a software update was necessary for it to work, and that I should have it pushed to the car by the end of March. Specifically, they said that the Sync information needed to show my BC expiration date, which it was not doing. Last update I got was on March 29, but no reference to BC and BC still doesn't work. The second time I talked with Ford support, they indicated that software was fine I needed to take it into the dealer (though Sync is still not showing BC expiration date). Seems I'm going around in circles a bit and before I go down the dealer path, I'd welcome any thoughts or suggestions, or if maybe I missed something in the threads here that might help explain what's going on?

I purchased exactly 2 months ago as well. Build plate on door jamb says 07/23

Bluecruise 1.3
Worked the first moment I hit a BC stretch of tarmac.

I've had a few OTA updates, as well as some FDRS efforts myself. Nothing has gotten nixed that I have noticed.

However, the short term free trial is approaching and I doubt I am going to subscribe with the Mach-E.
I will with the Powerboost though. It's my long haul land yacht, so it's the vehicle most likely to leverage BC (1.4) enjoyment.

I purchased the car in Sep of 2023 and blue cruise worked well until March of 24 and stopped completely. Would not prompt on highway or work in any other way. Through this forum and talking with Ford I discovered that my vehicle had a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) regarding this matter and only dealership can address. Went to dealership, took entire day but problem was resolved.

My '23 GT PE (Job 1) came with BC 1.2 (they switched to BC 1.3 for Job 2 (2nd half of model year)) and BC would not work. I own a '21 so I knew how it should work.

What we ultimately discovered is that the onboard maps were too old. That's not supposed to be a problem because the car *should* download the map updates while driving and that's actually a pretty fast process (it's not an OTA software update).

I discovered that while all the settings were correct, the onboard modem was wedged and wasn't downloading anything.

I had to disconnect 12v power ... wait a few minutes (I think I waited about 10 minutes), and then reconnect the 12v power.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When you disconnect 12v power, you kill all kinds of components that normally do not power down when the car is off. All of these components have to reboot and it takes a while... a good 20 minutes at least. ALSO ... it is normal to get a number of error messages when you start the car because those components were shut down and needed time to boot. You can ignore those messages.

Once the car had time to boot ... you can start it and drive it but it STILL needs time to reconnect and download the map updates (that didn't take too long ... maybe 15 minutes).

I drove the car around for a bit, shut it off, restarted the car (this may not have been necessary but some updates wont start getting used until the next time the car is started), and BC has been working ever since.
