Bit of wind and rain. Portland metro didnāt see any of it, but the southern coast, NorCal, and Seattle saw most of it. It hit the coast ranges and didnāt get much further in N Or / S Wa. Glad to have my winters on now. Hit Mt Hood for super early skiing last weekend, but it was super slushy. Snow is piling up in the Cascades this week. Canāt wait for the weekend snowboarding!!!
In the Puget Sound area and saw a lot of rain blowing sideways. A couple of really bright flashes without thunder which I assume were transformers arcing. Trees and branches down and a lot of power outages.
I always see non EV people ask what do you do if the power goes out. I always say drive my car as far as it will go. With these things laying around that is not far.
Dodged a bullet here in the Coos Bay/North Bend area. Fair amount of rain and some wind but the real nasty stuff was south of us in the Gold Beach and Brookings areas.
I never lost power but I only have to drive a half mile East and there are still a bunch of people without power and cellular service has been reduced to LTE. Its just power out for miles and miles up to the foothills and beyond. A lot of work left to be done.
