Can the USB audio source name be changed?

I keep a USB drive with mp3 audio running most of the time.

Center display name for the drive is "USB 9". I

Can this be changed anywhere? 4-week owner, and I assume this is residue from previous devices in the time before delivery...but I didn't see an obvious place to rename (I know: lack of customization is a feature, not a bug)

haha. my phone is due for an upgrade....too many images to have room for tunes

To answer my own question (partially):

I reformatted two USB drives and added tunes (Windows 11, NTFS)...
Next time in the MME. each showed as "USB"...plus the optional volume name that Windows allows you to add.

No more "USB + random number in the USB source display. Woot.
