My wife and I are really liking the silver, we live on a dirt road and it doesn't show as much as it did on some of our other vehicles including our black F-150.
Bother the dealer, it is what they are there for. Once you log into your account at Ford, you should be able to go to order and reservations and see your vehicle. If it is not there, your dealer will need to push it through the system. My order showed up the next day and then we waited several months before the In Production showed up (which means they are thinking about scheduling it). Some time later (6 months from order for me), you will get notice of a production date and you can typically figure about 2 months from that date, although there have been cases of a couple of weeks.
I remember it took a few weeks to show up. When I called the dealer, he said he waits and puts several orders in together. So don't give up. It should show up.
Especially the matching vin number part?
And it only took 12 focus groups! ?
My dealer said "stay on the phone and I'll accept the order on my end, let's give it a few minutes and then you can refresh on your end." We did and the order appeared... So 15 minutes? If it isn't showing up, then the dealer didn't push the order through correctly and you need to follow up with the dealer.
First she said "we didn't reserve it, we ordered it" and I'm like "cool, it says no orders either". She said they put the order in and she will let me know if she hears something. Is there a general Ford Customer service number I should call?
Did she give you the Ford order number after she put it through? Should be 5 or 6 digits? (It's different than the number that appears in the orders dashboard).
I have a 4 digit order code, a 6 digit sales code, a 3 digit price code and 2 digit priority code.
