Charge Port Door Not Flush?

I have tried resetting the door on the rails and it seems right, I actually have 2 doors and they both pop out slightly like this, so maybe it’s normal? Just got it back from the body shop so not sure if I am imagining new problems or not.

Convincing myself that they dent the pulled right in that front edge that lines up with the line of the charge port door could have been pulled just a smudge further to line everything up.

Or it’s all in my head….

Nope, it's not in your head. I checked mine by putting a ruler up against the crease and it lines up flush with the fender front and back. And if I sight along it from the front I can't see it sticking out.

Boo ?, yeah I’m thinking the dent wasn’t quite pulled out far enough. The new charge port housing and everything looks correct and the door is, so I can’t see how anything wasn’t installed properly.

Hard to say from a picture, but it looks like the port door is a bit out of alignment.

That’s the new housing and everything looks pretty good without the cover on.

But yeah when I put the cover on it’s like the whole think needs to sink back a couple mm.

I didn’t know that was a new housing. Maybe it can be adjusted a bit, or it might be defective.

If you haven’t already take it back to the body shop and see if they can do anything.
