Good morning,
I charged my car for the first time last night using the supplied charger in a regular 110V plug in my garage. It looked, fine, light was blue on charger, but when I disconnected lights on port were red, then when I got in it, it had this orange warning.
Charge Station Fault See Manual
The vehicle is plugged in and a fault has been detected with the charge station or charging cord. Please check the charging cord and the charging station or electrical supply.
I managed to clear it by opening the door a few times and it drove fine, but wondering what I did wrong?

Thanks!

Make sure you press and hold the button on the charger handle and wait a second or two to disconnect the charger before you pull it from the charge port. Possibly you might have just pulled it out which could have caused what you describe
.

Hey guys, I’m looking for your expertise on this so most of you know I’ve sold my Mustang but I have the Ford connected level two charger hooked up to the house 240 V. I’m wanting to use it to actually charge some of my EcoFlow generators which the generator comes with an adapter and it fits perfectly in there and it goes in, but I’m not getting anything from the charging station. And I’m wondering, and I’ve got electrician coming out as well. Will this only charge a car not specifically Ford but according to Ford, you can charge any electric car with this, but will it only recognize a car and if it does is there a charging station out there that would be compatible with anything that can accept The 1772 adapter and 240 V?

Oh sorry I must’ve jumped the gun on this. I spoke with EcoFlow before I sent this and I was waiting for the system to sit for an hour, the generator that is, and I brought it outside to the charging station after doing a hard reset on the generator and I heard the station connect and it’s charging so sorry for jumping the gun. Apparently it works on other things besides cars. And boy 30 minutes to go from 40% to 100. That’s pretty good compared to the house plug.
