I have a '22 premium AWD ER which I charge with a wallbox pulsar plus charger. The wallbox has charged the car fine for 2 1/2 years although it will occasionally drop charging sessions logged on the app. Usually an unplug will fix the problem, often times it will fix itself. There was a recent software update to the unit, which I did and while the unit still charges the car fine, when I unplug, I get the charging ring flashing red.. When I start the car I get a "charge station fault" alert. The manual says it is a problem with the cord or the unit. I have upluged the wallbox and repluged and also did a restart of the unit, but neither of these helped.
I just had the car in for new tires and 12v battery. At that time they also updated all modules and software, and cleared any codes. In other words, the car is in perfect shape. As I said, the car charges fine, but I'm concerned about using the wallbox unit if there is a problem that could cause problems with the Mach-E.
Any observations would be appreciated.

did you happen to update it to 6.7.18? I had this same behavior after doing so and notified wallbox support, they had me do a factory reset which brought it back to 5.x, then I updated it to the version before that release (6.6.15) and it stopped producing the charging error. I tried to push the support person to file a bug as it is clearly one and I believe related to the change they made in the waiting behavior in that release, as I use the car's charging schedule so it appears to trip the error if you plug in but don't begin charging until the schedule. They insisted on just closing it as "fixed" after the restore so I'm not sure how aware of it they really are on the engineering side. Your issue sounds identical though so I'd try the restore then update to something before 6.7.18.

I have the Wallbox pulsar plus charger, but I have done the latest update for it. I charged on it on Sunday afternoon with the problems.

Just to confirm the above reply, wallbox has pulled 6.7.18 because of too many bugs. If you have downloaded it you need to do a restore to the unit and download whatever software the app recommends. In my case, 6.7.12 and this should eliminate the charge station fault alert.
fairily easy, glad it wasn’t the car!

Yeah, I suspected they pulled it (though when I asked the support person they kind of shrugged at that too) since it seems no longer available for me in the last week or so either. Glad its easy enough to restore back, if just a bit annoying

tl;dr: As of this writing, Wallbox's app installs 6.6.15 after you do a Restore and Software update.

I have same as OP ('22 Premium ER AWD) as well as a Wallbox Pulsar Plus US.

I don't have auto-install of my Wallbox software. When I recently upgraded to 6.7.18, I started getting charge faults (orange ring) after charging on my Wallbox overnight.

I took my Mach e to the dealership for a different reason and asked that they look at the charging system as part of the check-up. They reported no issues with charging faults. They suggested I try a different charger as the problem may be there instead. The nice part is that this was all covered under warranty; so, lost time, not money.

That suggestion lead me here. I did a Restore in the app as well as a Software update. This installed 6.6.15. Problem fixed... for now. ?
