Hello Fellow MME owners,

Which vendor did you go with for home charging port installation for
1.) 240V or
2.) DC fast charger stations

I did some research and Qmetric was one option I found via Ford website. I submitted an estimate request but the reviews say they are expensive.

Please throw some light.

Thanks in advance!

You’re probably better off calling local electricians and asking them for estimates. Say you want a 240V RV or welder outlet in your garage. If you say it’s for an electric car the price might go up $1000.

DC fast charging isn't for homes...

Gotcha. I meant Ford connected charge station
You'll want to see if your utility company provides either discounted chargers, or a rebate for installing certain brands/models.

If not, then you need to decide if you want to rely on Ford's ability / inability to support their branded charger (do some reading on the forum), and why you want to pay more than other chargers.

Some just put in an outlet and use the charger that came with the car (specs attached on page 2).
And whether you want to have an app with features on an intelligent charger. JuiceBox has a nice app. I got a JuiceBox 48, with $500 rebate from my utility company.
