Hello everyone,

I’d like to share a “charging fault”followed by a “stop safety “issue I’ve had twice now weeks apart.

When this happens the ford pass app notifies of a charge error. I unplug and try again and the same thing. I then attempt to start the car and the message “stop safety now” appears. I do this process again and still the same. I hear the charger click on and off (240v 80amp clipper creek), then the orange ring on the charge port. I waited about thirty minutes and plugged it backed in. Everything was back to normal. A
Mystery and a relief!

Im starting to wonder if this is somehow software related. I have had two failed attempts with the OTA 1.7.1. The Car for the most part before this was glitch free. Since the failed attempts my profile pic is gone, I cannot switch the auto update on.My screen seems to need to be rebooted frequently because it freezes and sometimes the radio doesn’t work.

Hopefully I’m not the only one and this will all go away once my dealer manually pushes the OTA.

Same prob here today for first time. Will wait a bit and plug-in again. It was fully charged and plugged in. Got a fault and won’t start. We are colder here than normal but it’s in the garage and about 40° inside.
