Charging never started at scheduled time

We set our preferred charge times to when the juice is cheap. Tonight it never stared a the app displays a "charging" stopped message. Repluging it in didn't fix it. I tried pushing the lightning bolt symbol to no avail. The breaker on the circuit has not tripped.

When I plug in, the circular lighting mechanism goes clockwise and then goes counterclockwise for a very brief period -- all grey. It never displays the purple color that indicates it is live.

I'm pretty low on range and am willing to buy juice at non preferred times. I'd appreciate any tips on how to rejigger the system.

Not sure which EVSE you’re using, but did you try restarting that too? Maybe there’s a fault that just needs to be cleared? I’d try turning the breaker off/on again

Thanks I think you may have diagnosed the issue.. The EVSE is the standard Ford E336193. The light on its face is amber. When it is plugged in it briefly it turns blue but then returns to amber. Turning the breaker on and off did not affect this condition. Would I be right to think this unit is broken?

Sadly the Ford mobile chargers aren’t the most reliable in the long term so I suspect that’s your issue.
