I have a 2022 Mach e Select with comfort/tech group. In July it will be 4 years old and I only have 21000 miles. I have had a climate system with random problems Since the beginning. Nothing that would ever keep me from driving and looking back I should have taken it back to the dealer to have it checked. Here is what happens:
Heater/defroster will come on full blast…no rhyme or reason. Heated steering wheel and one or both heated seats will come on at random.
I thought my problem was a one of the kind, but lately have seen other post on different groups with people with the same symptoms. Has anyone ever seen any kind of recalls for climate problems?
The only other annoying thing the car does is switch from unbridle to engage on its own almost daily.

The unbridle to engage thing is common. I don’t think it’s ever been fixed. Good news is it basically makes zero difference. I just keep my car in Engage. Just like I keep my “rain sensing” wipers turned off because they’ll never be able to eliminate the phantom wipe problem, either. Just like I keep my speed limit sign detection off because they won’t ever get that working reliably, either. You either put up with the bugs or turn off the features. Some people value the feature enough to tolerate the occasional bug.

I’ve not heard of the climate stuff you’re describing. I’m guess your software is whacky. Might be fixed by updating the software but unfortunately you’re out of the 36mo warranty. Maybe others have suggestions.
