I’ve never encountered this issue before with my 2021 Select. When I press any of the climate control buttons for the AC, heated seats, or steering wheel, the climate control system is completely grayed out. Even the temperature gauge on the screen doesn’t display anything. I’ve tried pulling the fuse, disconnecting the battery, and even using the app to start the climate controls, but none of these methods work. The car is currently at the dealership, and they’re trying to diagnose the problem. They mentioned that they need to remove the dashboard to access the AC module. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

I have not, but it would make sense if the compressor, a fan, or a pump was inoperable. As I understand it the Mach-E has a right slew of pumps for thermal management - I think as many as 4 on some years. I bet you'd get that kind of symptom if one of them was dead.

Sounds like a hvac control module, a compressor issue wouldn't affect heated seats or wheel...
Might be as simple as a loose or corroded wiring connection, vehicle configuration issue, or fried module.

Dealership saying they have to take apart the dashboard to get to the module,I’m going to get a second opinion from another dealership before I commit to them taking apart the everything, because they are saying it would cost around $2000

"Taking apart the dashboard" probably means removing the Sync screen, not the whole dash...

Do you think it would be a 10 hour job because that’s what the service rep was telling me over the phone, never used this dealership before the one I normally go to the tech on vacation,

That sounds excessive, but I don't have access to a shop manual. They might be quoting a max figure based on removing the entire HVAC...
