Help....climate controls just stopped working

Hi all, everything was fine, working properly, had driven 30 or so miles....came home for lunch, went to a library used book sale....got back in the car, none of the climate controls worked.....no heated seats, if I went to the climate screen, all buttons were faded, not working.....if I used the max defrost button on the main screen, it came on but rear window defroster did not (usually does) and when I went to main climate screen to shut off max defroster the on/off button was reversed, on when faded, off when blue colored.......

FordPass did say I got power update 2.3.0 at 2:00pm right around the time of the climate control loss......
car was on a charge last night.....

any ideas or guesses??????

Oh, also audio work fine....

Yes. Wait and see what it does tomorrow. You're in the middle of an update.

Or, do a Sync reset. Volume/power and right seek button held for 10 seconds.

thanks for the quick reply, I was thinking the same thing.....if tomorrow comes and still the same problem I'll probably try a reset......

Mine just updated to 23.0 and no problems so it's probably in the middle of the update.

Just went outside to check, all seems to be back to normal......having had "no bumps" in over 10000 miles, I reacted to what, at first, I thought was going to be a problem......

same here, no heat all controls are grayed out. In Chicagoland, so this is no good!!!

I just experienced the same issue with climate control and am hoping I too am in the middle of an update? How do you know if your in the middle of an update? Thanks!

Mine just did the same thing today, and the sync reset fixed it. Yesterday, the voice control button on the steering wheel did not work, but today it does. Weird little bugs, which is annoying. For months, I have not had use of the front camera for cruise control or emergency braking. Dealer said I need a software update, but Ford does not have one yet. It worked when I got the car, so how did it undo itself and fail like this? It does not give me much confidence in Ford.
