Dealer (non) service experience

Dealer won't service the 23 MME they sold me (new vehicle), saying Ford hasn't done a good job setting them up to be able to perform the service. They are a small dealership and I live in a very rural area and the next closest dealer is +1.5 hours away. Has anyone else run into issues finding a dealer for getting warranty service or recall work done?

Yes. I won’t subject the forum to yet another retelling of the nearly 2 year battle to get the only dealer here to do an NHTSA recall but suffice it to say I would have gone t another dealer in a heartbeat given the chance. Call them up, establish a relationship with them and be done with the slacker. And make your opinion known on various review sites.

If northern virginia is within the 1.5 hour distance you mentioned, you might consider Ted Britt Ford/Lincoln in Chantilly, Faifax County. They have treated me well the couple of times I’ve had the car there even though I bought it from the dealer in Manassas.
