Deceleration score

Has anyone noticed that driving with BC gives a much higher deceleration score than when you are doing the driving?

I usually get something around 70% using one pedal and being really nice to it. But it gives itself a score of 95% driving like a 16 year old and slamming on the brakes every time it wants to slow down.

I feel a bit of bias here.

I always get close to 100% score. Also, BC slows down pretty smoothly for me.

I turned on BC today in stop and go traffic to try it out. Took about 30 seconds for my kid to look up and say "Bruh" because it kept slowing so fast. I turned it off.

On topic, I hope the computer gives itself a high %, otherwise it is driving in a way that it knows to be suboptimal. And we all know what happens when computers in charge of a vehicle are given conflicting orders.

Based on a recommendation from @macchiaz-o I've been switching to whisper mode when using BC in stop and go traffic and it feels much smoother. YMMV.

I think that recommendation was from @hybrid2bev, possibly? I do use Whisper mode most of the time, though. ?

From what I understand, ACC deceleration is further improved in one of the later BC updates (1.2, 1.3, or 1.4, not sure which) so drivers get less bruh's from the youths.

Whenever I go for a drive (longer than 100 miles) I have been switching to whisper. Not only is it a smother ride but it 'seems' to give me better efficiency. Maybe in whisper I don't drive as aggressively ?

I usually see in the 90’s. The display is not consistently present. Maybe it’s because I don’t notice it.

What score would you give yourself if grading yourself? A+++++, of course!

Also, these numbers are randomly generated, and serve no useful purpose. That's my theory, anyways...
