I've had zero issues with my seatbelt, so not bringing it to the dealer for this or the 24B42 I fixed myself with FDRS.

Sounds like if your seatbelt isn't latching / throws an error when latched then this is your fix.

Same here, no issues with my seatbelt… I guess maybe it’s a recall because nothing pops up when I start my car or while driving. If I hadn’t checked the app I would have never known.

It is not an official safety recall. It is only a warranty extension period if something was to go bad it will still be covered even if your vehicle is out of warranty. Unless you have an error message or fault lamp on they will not replace it.

The way I read it is: IF you get an airbag warning light when your seat belt is buckled, then take the car in to the dealer and they will fix it.

It is not an official safety recall. It is only a warranty extension period if something was to go bad it will still be covered even if your vehicle is out of warranty. Unless you have an error message or fault lamp on they will not replace it.

Appears more bronco and maverick issue and drivers can’t pull the seat belt over chest in one fluid motion to latch on first try. ..? But more importantly how is that not a safety issue … RECALL vs CSP? We have to wait for a sensor or message to tell us? Hopefully sounds like more of an annoying inconvenience but questioning if that motion kicks in accordingly
in an accident?
