Lately I have been having a lot of trouble getting OTA updates to actually go through. I’m always getting getting an error message about the update being interrupted by some other process. Anyway, the last update to try to go through was 6.6. After a few attempts I checked in the vehicle and saw this screen. I am no longer getting a message about an update being available, but I seem to be getting mixed messages about it going through successfully.

No, it doesn't appear it went through. That's what the "Not Completed" means.

Someone with access to Ford's system might be able to double check with your VIN.

That is how I was reading it as well. Not sure why I am having so many problems with updates lately. Months of no updates coming my way, then they start sending them and problems arise. Oh well, at least I get to keep my drive mode animations a while longer.

Thanks. My daily commute isn’t very long, so that may be what is going on. The last time I had trouble I drove it down without charging for a few days (easier in December) and that seemed to do the trick. I took a longer trip yesterday to help charger the 12v, but then saw this when I got back home and was quite disappointed.

Why don't you leave the car on and parked for a few hours, disable the car turning off after 30 min in settings.

That won't work currently because his update expired. He needs to wait for the server to re-issue the update, after which the Update Now button will become available again. Then they can try leaving it on.

If the status says "Not Completed" there's nothing you can do but wait for the next issuance.
