I am performing family tree research in Ancestry.com and going through old photographs. I came across pictures of my father and mother in front of a Five Window Ford Coupe (not sure of year but I'm going with a 1934 for now) and found a 1/24th scale die cast model of a 1934 Ford Coupe to display in front of the picture on a table in my study. My father graduated from the University of North Dakota with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1937 and my mother (his fiancé then) owned her own beauty salon on campus there where she worked on the co-eds. I think he must have purchased the car new as he often told me he wouldn't buy a used car and somebody else's troubles but I have no way of ever knowing now.
