Charger Concept

Now if the Dodge Charger can go from two door, to four door and back to two door I am wondering how long it will be when the MME goes to two door?

In any event, this Charger looks Cool!!

I would definitely would give this a chance at least a test drive. Let's see where MME is at three years from now. Will be Daytona Charger EV's second year. Perfect timing.

I'd consider it if I could turn off the noise. I used to enjoy that sort of thing, but most of my driving is now long highway driving, and engine noise droning for hours at a time is just not my thing anymore. I much prefer the silence of the Mustang.

the article mentions you can adjust it 0-126 db volume.

I do like the option to turn it off its an EV anyway. I'd be surprised if they didnt have that. Probably would turn away a lot of experienced EV drivers.

If you put it at zero, will that meet the tyrannical regulatory requirements that mandate quiet cars have to make noise? My "zero" setting is actually zero, not some lower but still annoying level of noise pollution.

My inquiring mind wants to know what "zero" means.

I have to give Dodge credit. They kept their design close to what the ICE car looks like.
If they can pull all the other stuff like the transmission it might just maintain the muscle car image.
Way better than GM who just wants to drop Econo box suvs with little character. The new Blazer was a dud and the equinox is a glorified uncap-able suv station wagon( I own one. Big disappointment). I can’t imagine the EV version’s being better.

The Mach e has hints of the ice Mustang but it is a big departure from the 2 door sport coupe.

At least Ford and Dodge are protecting their name plates.

The Ram, Lightning, Silverado EV Evs are going to be very interesting. I have to say so far I prefer the Lighting.
Silverado reminds me too much of the Avalanche, and I think the mid gate o the Chevy and Ram are going to be problems

I’d guess that the propulsion noise is not connected to the required pedestrian warnings.

Zero, you said….

I had my eye on that 6 months ago. Even stopped by my local Dodge dealership to see if they had any kind of waiting list to get on a waiting list. They didn’t know anything. I joined a forum and some Facebook groups.
Then 6 months went by and NOTHING new has been said. I’ve come to believe that their concept was just that and I am doubting we’ll ever see production.
