Dog Mattress for Back

Had to take my dog to the vet the other day and had the seats folded down so he had some room. Oddly enough he stayed on the rubber mat that the car came with. Felt bad for him as it could not had been too comphy so I ordered a dog bed for the back of the MME.

First off, don't expect much, its basically just a piece of foam, dunno where they get this "Orthopedic" statement from. I have the floor set on the lowest setting, as you can see from the picture. I have the mat kind of tucked under the posts where the floor would normally sit on. It does fit, but it is just a tinny bit big, but fits without any issue with the floor on the highest setting. And to be honest, really there is not any fitment issues I have an issue with even on the lower setting.

I like it, he seemed to like it. For short trips and the such in the car I think it will work out pretty well. Dunno if I would recommend it inside the house though, I think the foam would break down pretty quickly.

I have another doodle, but she is only about 50lbs where he is 100lbs. Luckily he knows the command "backup" and "down", otherwise that tailgate might bonk him on his head lol

Once he is in though, he can actually stand up and move around. I was a little worried it would be too cramped, but seems okay. I folded down the 20% seat and he looked at it for a minute, then spun back around and laid down behind the 60% lol

Looks good! We use a dog hammock in the back seat. She seems pretty comfortable in it for a couple hours here and there. It splits in the middle so it is nice for my son and his food spills too . Have considered doing something with the back, thanks for sharing!

That is very similar to what we got and it works perfect. Zip it up, pull it out and all the sand comes out in the box. It needs to be vacuumed inside but puppy fur does not stick to the outside on ours. For the price of this protection and if your back seat is free it works great. I use it also if I want to thru something in the back and not just on the seats. It flaps down to protect when he jumps in and zips up when he does.

Koda rests his head on the mess wall between the front seats so he can see what is going on.
