Does anyone know the "algorithm" for how the regen braking works in 1 pedal mode?

For instance, if I am traveling 30 mph and I left off the pedal completely, does it use regen only until I'm at 5 mph and then switch to friction only? Or is it blending in some brake usage along with the regen when completely letting off?

Likewise, if I am creeping along in slow stop and go traffic below 5pm, is that 100% friction brake usage?

1 pedal makes no difference in friction brake use on the MME. The MME uses hybrid braking, and will always start with regen and add friction braking as needed even if you press the brake pedal.

Not true. There is a limit to how hard you can brake with 1PD. However, mashing the brake pedal hard will result in friction-only braking.

1PD = minimal brake dust
2PD with gentle braking = minimal brake dust
2PD mashing the brake pedal = lots of brake dust

Below 5 mph is always friction braking because of the physics of regen. I'm pretty sure that full lift off throttle in Engage is regen only (you'll get a 100% braking score this way). Whisper is less aggressive, so I'm guessing no friction brakes. I'm not 100% sure on Unbridle mode - full throttle lift is pretty aggressive braking in that mode, but I would guess regen only.

Ok, if you are braking at the same rate in 2PD as 1PD, then there will be no difference in brake usage. If you slam on the brakes, regardless of mode, then some braking will be regen and the rest will be friction.
Or, if you pop it into N and use any brakes, it will be all friction. I do this after washing the car so the pads don't bind to the rotors.
