EA station issues - Ellensburg + Yakima

Heads up to anybody traveling through central Washington.

Looks like Ellensburg EA station has 2/4 working chargers. I’m seeing reports of cars waiting to charge.

Yakima Walmart is getting its parking lot repaved and they’re closing the EA station while the work is ongoing beginning on 29 June.

it is so aggravating that Ellensburg continues to have problems even after they upgraded the hardware! Sucks that there’s still no real alternative to EA out there. Tesla has their old V1 station with 5-stalls behind the Starbucks plus that newer V3 just a couple of blocks away. Meanwhile, CCS has to deal with faulty charging networks everywhere. I’m so glad Ford made a deal with Tesla!

Was there much of a wait for EA?

Used the Ellensburg Taco Bell station over the weekend while driving my "new to me" Mach E from Spokane to Seattle. Three of the four stations were fully operational, while the third was "functioning" but would only charge 3kW/h. Due to it being a weekend evening, there was a bit of wait to charge (around 10 min, so not too bad).

They truly need to quit attempting to control those stations with Meat and Spicy burros. I mean I thought the entire thought of purchasing an EV was to move away from gas.

Ritzville, WA been having the same issues only 3 of the 4 working and one of them always has a line for the only CHAdeMO.
there is only one in Sprague, WA and it been sketchy to use. Takes many tries to get it working, def recommend getting the EV Connect app setup before you try it.

We’re all pretty hosed until Tesla v3 opens up to MMEs and/or NEVI stations get built.
