Error Message LIM 15 on dash

Hi all,

My first post on here so here goes . I was driving my Mach-e the other day when I felt the throttle was getting weird on me. A little green box came up on the dash where the speed limit normally is displayed and the car was restricted to 15 MPH. If I floored it though it would shoot away. I guess the LIM 15 means the speed limiter has kicked in at 15 MPH but there was no indication of why and it would only go away when I pulled over, turned it off and then back on again. It's not done it since. The dealer where I bought it seems to have no idea what it is and I can't find it in the Owners manual or by googling. Anyone else experienced this please? Anyone know what the possible causes of this are? It's one year old with 5,000 on the clock. Thanks.

Sounds like you enabled "My Key" which is for limiting speed for other users like letting your teenager drive it. It's in the manual.

Thanks, but it happened whilst I was driving along out of the blue.... I didn't change any settings. It was fine, it just kicked in mid journey.
