Hello Mach-E community,
I am a new member and am really excited to get in the weeds of Mach-E talk. I have a passion for the EV community and was really looking for a place to communicate with other users. From reading through a few posts, I am sure I have found a helpful community and am really looking forward to these connections.
A little background: I do not own an EV currently. I am well-versed in the industry, second-hand, but not yet an owner of one. You could say I am in the market. There is a lot that I like about the Mach-E, especially how the tech compares to industry-leaders.
My enthusiasm for EVs has caused me to tinker around with app development. Experiencing some downfalls with ABRP and PlugShare has inspired me to create a new custom app for iOS. It is very infant in state, but I believe it to be quite helpful. There are several useful features like POI discovery, (better) customized and easy routing, a more friendly iOS-native interface, and more.
To any iOS user looking to streamline charger discovery and route planning in one app, it would be a great help to me, and I believe quite useful to you, if you downloaded the app, EV Companion. It is a free app with an optional Premium upcharge, so it's completely free to test out and give feedback.
Ultimately, I am working on growing a user base to get honest feedback toward a better application that is more useful. If you are not interested, please disregard, but if you're looking for a better app like I was, consider giving a download and sharing some honest feedback with me.
