Today I got the email saying I can start the checkout process online for my Carbonized Gray Premium 4X. Ordered 3/30. Produced 6/25, and shipped 6/28. I am guessing the dealer actually doesn't have it yet. Reached out to them to see if they initiated the checkout or if it was automated.

Getting a little excited

All other reports have indicated that if you got the checkout e-mail your dealer has your car. That was the case for me. I completed the purchase online but selected sign at dealer at the end. My dealer had a little trouble getting the info downloaded from Ford, but @hybrid2bev provided some instructions that helped them get it done. Hope the final steps of the purchase process go smoothly for you. The car is awesome. You're gonna love it.

Congrats on getting that done. I also selected sign at dealer at the end, and when I was at the dealership they looked at me like I had a third eye. On the plus side, the dealership let me put down a larger down payment than the online system.

Interesting, Mine was made the week before yours, and the delivery window closes next wednesday. I am in Kentucky so it shouldnt be much longer for me. I have been in touch with my dealer to set up the financing (Im still not sure how much I am going to put down) and get a quote to program a second fob. The Tracker still says "In Transit" for me though.

My tracker says in transit as well. Contacted the dealer and they don't have the car (expect it on the 14th). Dealer was a little surprised I got the email saying I could complete my purchase. I need to wait to go in because Ford's trade in calculator won't let me select the correct trim for my current car I am trading in.

if you're able to, have CarMax buy it from you instead. you'll likely get more. (You can get a free online quote from them, Carvana, and Vroom [if in your area] to see what the numbers are.)

"if you're able to" is meant to imply distance to the dealer and the ability to get a ride back from there, unless you go with someone able to pick up at your house.
