Finding a charging station

I had two ways to find a charging station, one is with my phone / Ford app the other is the navigation / GPS screen in the car. While I was in St Augustine, FL. I needed a charge on Fathers day, Sunday. The car screen (GPS) sent me to two chargers that were part of an apartment complex. The first having a gate with no attendant, the other with no signs so had to ask somebody where the charger was. I then used my phone's Ford app. It told me more about the charging facility and directed me to a mall with a fast charger. I may have missed something when I was using the car's GPS but from now on I will only use my Ford app that is on my phone.
