So I've been charging up until today with zero issue. I have a Grizzle-E at home. I've used Electrify Canada DCFS stations with no issue, and at work in my parking garage, I have access to a Flo level 2 charger.

Today (about 15 minutes ago) I got my first Charge Fault error when plugged into the Flo station at work. I went to the car, had the red ring at the plug, and a "service vehicle soon" message came up and the dash was displaying the wrench, and plug icon when I started the car. It was plugged in and charging for about 2.5, almost 3 hours before I got the error message.

I started the car, shut it off and waited a few. The light ring went back to white, and the service indicator went away when I re-started.

Is this the first sign related to the HVBJB issue? Does this have any affect or relation to this larger issue? Am I over-reacting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think the HVBJB issue is at play here. We don't yet know why many of us are having this issue. For most, it only occurs from time to time so you may go quite a while before you experience another charge fault.

Some are suspecting a software glitch but I don't think it had been pin pointed just yet.

Thanks!

So I don't need to worry about the "Service Vehicle Soon" message, and the fact that the "dash lights" go away, I'm okay?

I guess it depends on which SVS message you are seeing.
If it is that one in the box that says Charge Fault. Service Vehicle Soon, then I don't worry too much about it because the issue isn't repeatable. There are a lot of things that will cause the EVSE to fault out and the car provides that message to make you aware of it.

If you are seeing SVS that is unrelated to the charge fault episode then you probably need to pay a little more attention to that.
