Ford offering $2k rebate on MachEs

Mine was ordered. I don't know the status of the rebate yet, but it WAS submitted. I guess we'll see.

Congrats! Was your Mach-E ordered by you or already on the lot? I've found the following fine print on Edmunds.com and I'm concerned that it only applies to dealer stock and not customer orders, but hopefully I'm just reading it wrong:

My salesman from Walnut Creek Ford just called to let me know Ford is now offering $2k rebate on MachEs , effective yesterday…still doesnt make up the $3750 loss of tax credit for those who qualify and the car is probably still more expensive than a comparable Model Y. He couldnt tell me if you can still do the Options and get the instant rebate or not but if that’s possible you are looking at $4000 off plus the tax credit /state incentives if you qualifiy

I took delivery of the Mach e on 4/15/23. That was on a Saturday a few days before the $7500 Fed credit was going to be cut in half. I was surprised when the Salesman told me that I was also eligible for the $2000 rebate from Ford! All told I ended up getting $17,000 ($7500 from the feds, $7500 from California (CVRP), and $2000 from Ford)!!! The timing couldn't be better!

Dealer and Ford Corporate said they didn’t see $2k rebate for me. 23 GTPE purchased May 1.

The $2000 was added to my down payment.
So it was taxed.

I’m guessing that the rebate ended after 4/18/23 and instead dropped the price by $3Gs to compensate for the loss of half the Federal tax credit.

Glad to hear this - some of the posts indicate it was only for cars ordered after January. Gives me hope for mine (ordered in October, delivery in a few weeks)!

Just say, “can you pull the smart Vincent report and show me all the offers applicable to my purchase?”

also ask them to account for whatever your order date was when they pull the smart vincent because you may be eligible for a lower interest rate than whatever is currently being offered

This is what I did yesterday. That’s how I found out that my car that’s on the way qualified for what my salesman called "$2,000 bonus cash."

@4sallypat , you should say what @DustyShades says to say to your dealer. Call or go down there. Make sure you have the VIN and your order number. They should be able to tell you everything/anything you qualify for. If they tell you it needs to be in their inventory to use Smart Vincent, tell them they can open SV and enter the VIN manually. That’s what happened with mine.
