Hey all. I have a production date scheduled for a standard 21 GT of 11/22. I have nothing better to do while I wait and constantly check the financing calculator tool online. I noticed the estimated rate went from 1.4% to 2.5% last week and I’m now seeing it at 5%. Has anyone taken a recent GT delivery with Ford Options? Was the rate significantly higher than 1.4%? My gut is there’s some wackiness going on with their online calculator, but a quadrupling on the rate would throw a real wrench in my budget and has me slightly worried.

Don't pay attention to the rate on the Ford site. It switches between the 2022 rate and a placeholder rate of 5% seemingly at random. The current rate for a 2021 GT is 1.4%, but that expires 11/1. You'll have to wait until 11/2 to see if it's extended.

Also, and I have no idea if this is true or not, cause, well, dealers. But mine said that we qualify for the best rate, either the one at the time we placed the order, or the one at delivery. So keep those screenshots and etc that prove the rates

Oh damn, really? I was ready to go with my bank rank, but if I can get 1.4 I'll go that route.

I am hoping the 1.4% holds for next month since there is no way my car is arriving from KC to the Bay Area before Monday.

Yeah, my bank and my credit unions can’t touch 1.4%.

Just to be clear, that’s the rate for Ford Options. The current rates for regular financing through Ford are 0% for 36mo, 0.9% for 48mo, and 1.9% for 60mo.
