Ford portable charger securing hack

If you are worried about the plug cable pulling out of the charging unit or don't have a convenient way of securing the plastic mounting bracket, get two pairs of heavy duty 24" zip ties (HF has them) and wrap them around the charger body like this photo. 24" isn't long enough so link two together. Consider this a temporary fix until you come up with a better plan, but really, that thang ain't never pulling out of there. I'm sure some of you have already done this. Oh, and this doesn't prevent the plug from pulling out of the wall.

Ford was adamant about keeping tension off the electrical connections between the wall outlet and the vehicle. At least that is what I recall from 2021 when I brought my MME home. Your solution looks elegant and sleek, but I went simple. I found the correct-sized, used Amazon box and used it to prop the charger up a little bit to remove all tension. Four years later all is well and unchanged. The only problem is California electricity remains ungodly expensive. I need a simple solution for that!
