Ford wallbox

Ordered Ford wallbox a while back, after having house electrics checked, looped in main, got the go ahead. A date was set, then BG says can't fit it doesn't comply with regs ?
Still waiting for FMC and BG to sort it out.
Having to use mains charger, anyone else bought a Ford box and had it fitted without a problem ?

Went along the painful route with BG, survey, requiring wiring some wiring upgrade, came to do work but thought they were going to install smart meter so appointment cancelled!
In the end gave up after several months, called Hypervolt and they came an installed instead.
A week later had a call from BG that they had noticed it was taking a long time for them to install our charger!!
