Hi guys,
Just had my Mach e AWD EXT (Rosie) into Ford for her 2 year service plus the above software recall update to the braking system. Mine was not affected by any braking fault previously and I understand that only some vehicles were affected. Anyway I invariably use one pedal driving with untamed and rarely used the brakes as I clould judge the stopping distance accurately just utilising the regeneration. In traffic or reversing the regeneration factor was really strong and made the car manageable. Following this software update however the regeneration factor has lessened considerably especially at low speeds and when reversing. Once the car starts rolling in traffic or reversing it will only stop if I use the brakes which I don't like at all. I don't know if this has been caused by the software update but has anyone had this sort of experience. I don't know if I am making an unnecessary fuss but my car has changed to something I don't enjoy now. I have booked into Ford for a check next week just in case.
