PaaK worked intermittently on my 2021, so poorly I gave up. Most recent attempted resulted in failure to download key.
Got my 2022 and setup my wife for PaaK just to do it. Worked fine. Tried mine, same issue (so it's not the car).
A contact at Ford got me the following procedure, which worked:
1) Clear app cache and data (I halted app first).
2) Delete app (they had them reversed, but I can't clear app data if the app is gone).
3) Reboot (I added this).
4) Reinstall FordPass.
5) Ensure background data and always allow location are one.
We'll see if it keeps working, but it appears the key to getting Ford technology to work is always buying a new vehicle.
