Gloss black body panel protection

Sadie Sue, our Pyr mix loves to go for rides. However, I just noticed a couple of scratches on the rear bumper, even tho we use a bath towel to protect as she gets in and out.

Are these parts painted or is the color molded in?

Looks like I'll need some PPF to keep her from destroying it.
