Hi,

I'm considering switching from 19' to 18' wheels to get a smoother ride. I saw other people changed shock absorbers or used other solutions but I'd rather not go into that territory.

Now, the 18' wheels will also bring a range increase so I'm wondering if there is a way for the GOM to adjust for that.

Drive the car. If it is anything of any significance, the car will learn and adjust its estimated range over time.

If you want to force it, you can always reset the driving history in the menu, but I can't imagine that's really worth it. It's not like you can check the box for "18 inch wheels" and it will suddenly add 15 miles to your range.

From what I read online (for any brand of EV) the change is significant.
I was hoping for a parameter that maybe I can change with Forscan.

I do not believe in significant change going from 19 to 18 - probably 5% real life difference. I believe upgrading from 18 to 20 would deliver about 10% range drop only

From what I see it depeds on the car model an the traveling speed. I could not find figures for MME but I would expect between 5 and 10%.

Work out the circumference; you know the wheel diameters & tyre aspect ratio to work from so it’s a matter of simple maths
p=2 x Pi x R

I think you’ll probably find that the rolling circumference is as near to same as will make no difference.
