4 year lease is up... Sad to see it go but am now going PHEV until charging infrastructure massively improves. No issues in 60k+ miles apart from corroded valve stems and a perished drivers door rubber that was replaced under warranty. Software update a while back increased range - see pic. Will be selling space saver spare tyre and boot liner shortly .

I can appreciate your decision. Before buying my MME I drove a Ford Fusion energi PHEV for 7 years. It was the best of both worlds. The all-electric range (which was pretty lame at 20+ miles) got me to work where I could charge for free thanks to my workplace subsidizing employee charging. PHEVs now have significantly greater all-electric range. Most of my driving was, and still is, local. It would get me out and about, then home on a single charge. When I traded it in at 50,000 miles, I was still driving on the original tires, er...tyres, had only done 2 oil changes (and the oil was still clean at selling), and one year I only filled up the gas tank twice, but usually it was 3 or 4 times a year. I also appreciated that I could drive over to Idaho to visit friends without concern about 'range'.

I agree wholeheartedly that the charging infrastructure for EVs needs to improve, but even as-is it meets my needs. But it would be nice to not have to carefully plan out routes between charging stations.
