Got a ride in a GT on track

I can cross off an item on my bucket list. On Saturday I was fortunate to get a ride in a Ford GT Mk II on the road course at Spring Mountain from a very generous owner at the Shelby Bash. It was every bit as incredible as you would imagine from the "no restrictions" GT offering from Ford. At one point I thought we had overshot the corner at the end of a straight, but the brakes his so hard it was like we hit a wall or something. The cornering defied physics. Later I got a ride from Billy Johnson in a GT500. That was a blast as well.
