Got a scheduled build date.

Ordered a Velocity Blue Metallic GTPE on 24 may and received an order update this morning with a scheduled build date of the week of 1 Sep and a VIN. I'm wondering what's going to happen vis-a-vis the rebate (was $7500 now Ford only rebates $5500) since it's set to expire 30 Sep and I'm sure my vehicle won't be here by then. Even though it's in the order I don't see how Ford can stand by the rebate since it's money that comes from the govt. We'll see.

I will say that mine took 3 weeks from build to delivery so maybe you will get lucky and yours will be quick too. Build date was also moved up a few days. I was anticipating a much longer process but was pleasantly surprised!
