Help Setting up MME with the "Correct" FordPass Profile

When I got my MME, I used the FordPass app to set up the profile in my MME. So it copied over my profile photo and settings and all that jazz which I set up at Ford.com before I got my car.

However, it was being all flakey and not detecting the profile correctly, not adjusting the seat correctly, and so when I spoke to Ford they recommended I just reset everything and start again. I did a master reset on the car, removed the car from Ford Pass and logged out, and then set it up all over again.

Afterwards, I wasn't able to set up my profile correctly. While my Ford Pass app is still "connected" to the car (I can unlock it, view charge levels, etc), it doesn't seem to be linked to the profile in the car itself (different profile pic, unable to view trip history in app, etc).

How do I go about fixing all this so the account in the MME is MY account that works with Ford.com, and not some apparently local-to-the-car profile? It's getting real frustrating.

Also... what's best practice for setting up my wife's profile? Does she need a ford.com account (I read here that probably not, as then she won't have access to the charging credits)? What should I do here?

And then one last thing that's completely off-topic, but rather than make a separate thread about it... In the climate control settings, I find I continually have to turn on the recirculated air setting. It just randomly turns off during drives. I'll be on the freeway and suddenly it starts getting stinky, so I open up the climate menu and oh look it's turned off again. Any way to get that to just stay on all the time? Thanks, appreciate any pointers here!

My biggest problem was I had more than one version of contacts with my name and Ford Pass defaulted to picking none. I had to eliminate all but one of “my” contact names in my iPhone “Contacts” list.

If you figure these things out, I'd love to hear what you did. I have the same types of issues, including with recirculate not defaulting to on. ?
