Hi everyone!

I started the Mach-E hunt back in April, and after missing out on a couple of nice used Premiums, I came across my 2022 GT Performance Edition in mid-May. It's definitely been well loved, with 120,000 km on the clock, a few door dings, and curb rash on the wheels. But after driving the GT, and considering the price I was able to get it for, I couldn't pass it up.

I commute about 21,000 km a year, so this Mach-E is going to rack up some serious mileage over the next few years. Right now I charge exclusively on a public Level 2 charger that's conveniently close to home, but my workplace should be installing chargers in the next few months.

So far I've:

• Replaced the center dash speaker
• Added PPF to the headlights
• Installed B and C pillar covers to hide some scratches and cracks in the gloss black trim

This is actually my third Mustang. Right out of high school I owned a Fox-body 5.0 LX, and I also had a 1973 coupe with a 351 Cleveland that I sold about a year ago. I can honestly say, don't let anyone tell you the Mach-E isn't a Mustang.

I've got my first road trip coming up in about a week and a half, and I'm looking forward to putting BlueCruise to work and seeing what kind of efficiency I get over the whole trip.

I've been lurking in this group for the past three months, so I figured it was finally time to introduce myself and my Mach-E, currently known as Commutus Brutus.

And a word of advice to a new (used) MME owner, your 12V (low-voltage battery) is critical to the proper functioning of your MME. Understatement.

I love my new (to me) 2022 MME GTPE (with new 12V battery and all-season tires) too.

Top tip - don’t fall for all the paranoia about changing this, conditioning that, when’s this going to fail, when that’s going to fall off etc.

I’m a user having had a similar usage to you now with 127,000 miles after 62 mths and find nothing’s worth worrying about that much.

Welcome! BC is great except that in the lower mainland some of the fast chargers are in high demand! Especially that one cheap supercharger that the uber drivers use all the time!

How much does that public L2 cost you? Any chance to top up at L1 at home overnight, or install an L2 at home someday? L1 charging overnight isn’t much, but if you do it every night for 10 hours it actually adds up to 23,000 km on my GT PE.

Welcome- I live in Blaine- you’re going to have fun with your new ride. I’ve had five internal combustion Mustangs over the years; my ‘24 Mach E is the best.

The level 2 is costing me roughly 31 cents a kWh. Last month it cost me $130 which is $30 more than I calculated before purchase. To be fair I didn't base my math on a GT and I'm also driving more than I used to in my free time just because I love the car so much. I was spending $300 a month in gas prior to this.

I'm very lucky that I can do the level 2 and walk less than 5 minutes to get home, and the level 2 has no idle fee so I could leave it over night, though I haven't worked up the courage to do so.

I have no way to do level 1 at home at the moment but our strata is working on a solution for EV's but I have no idea what that will look like.

My workplace should be installing a level 2 in the next 5 months which will perfect because it will be free for me and currently there's only one other EV I'd have to split time with.

I did the Infinity REF307F and luckily was able to sell the second one pretty quickly. Good luck with your install, it's pretty fast!

I basically have a charging station in my neighborhood and it has level 2's and 3's. the level 3's are 39 cents a kWh. There is a level 3 on the other side of town that does it for 35 cents however. Luckily lower mainland I'm not too worried about it getting to -20C but rain is a factor but it's something we're used to down here.

I know I'm paying more than a lot of other EV owners to charge but I'm saving so much compared to my previous ICE car.
