Recently my 21 GT has been randomly giving me the jail bars even when I have more than enough battery. It’s usually after a quick drive and then let the car sit for 20 min then turn it back on and bam jail bars for the whole next drive. Happen to anyone else? I posted the same thing on the FB group and people are saying it’s the HVJB going out. Wanted to get some more thoughts. I’ve had the recall done a while ago when I got the car back in 2023, I’m at 61k miles now

Maybe it is temperature related. It is dipping into the 60s here, and I expect colder in Michigan. If you park outside and it is getting cold that would create the jail bars you see.

Cold temperature is the only reason I saw that many bars above 70% SoCD in my 21 GT. Well except for when I had the speed above 80. LOL.

Not enough bars there for a blown HVBJB. I get more jail bars when I power-brake the car. As Mike said, it might be temperature-related. 🤔🐩

You said that randomly after driving and letting it sit for 20 or so minutes you get the bars for the next drive. What happens if you let it sit until the next day? Do you have the bars after the car sits over night? 🤷‍♂️🐩

Did you get the current 12V recall software installed yet? If not, do that first.

Dude it’s been 80 degrees here. Never thought I’d say that in October it’s 80 in Mi. That’s why I’m even more confused as to why I randomly get them.

No bars when it sits over night. It’s also been consistently 80 degrees here

The dealer sent someone to my house to do an update but then I got another letter in the mail regarding the same recall. And my ford pass app says recall incomplete so I am planning on calling them and seeing what the deal with that is

The recall will update the software responsible for the jail bars, so I would recommend checking with them about that. If it’s been more than a couple weeks since they did the update and it’s still not gone from FordPass, then call. If they just did it, then wait a couple of weeks.
