Issues since most recent update

Is anyone else having any issues since the most recent update? I actually don't know if it is my app or the car. Two nights ago, the car did not charge - not a big deal because I had plenty to spare and just charged while I was at home. Last night into this morning, the car only got to 77%. I have it set to charge up to 90% - the setup is fine as I checked and it has been the same for a month with no issues. Also, my app keeps crashing yesterday and today. Is anyone else having this issue?

The wiper turns on once at start up. There’s no rain and it’s in the correct position. And half way through the drive the voice controls will be activated but no one has spoken, no buttons pressed and music isn’t even on.

Also, not sure how this could be update related but I just noticed it yesterday…there’s a weird croaking noise when going from the accelerator to the brake and then back. It’s the worst when the car is stopped and then the accelerator is pushed. It sounds sticky almost?

The camera acts as a windshield sensor to detect rain. Sometimes it will detect dust or pollen as rain.

Wipers don't use the camera, there's a separate infrared moisture sensor for the wipers (circle to the right of the camera). But if there's a bug splat over the sensor that can sometimes trigger it.

Alex, you could try manually cleaning the top center of the windshield really well and see if that helps. Otherwise leave the stalk in the OFF position until the wipers are needed.

Looks like your thread got hijacked. I have had charging problems but never with it not charging enough or not at all. I have had no problems with charging since the power ups and FP update 3.28 but have charged only once since them. My app is not crashing.

Maybe try to override it and charge to 100% and see what happens. Change something in the charging schedule save it down and see if it resets and starts to behave. Change the schedule in the car and see if it syncs in the app. Kill the app on all phones when it is charging. Try to isolate what is causing it. The car does not need the app to charge and some do not use the app at all.

During the entire month I wasn't allowed to clean Marlin so the ceramic could cure. It was agony ?

You ceramic your windshield? I can image your agony as that would hurt me down deep. I speed shine the windshield and front end at the end of every drive so the bugs juice does not soak into the paint and/or harden up. Thank goodness I am old school wax and buff and just sealed the glass as I most likely could not take that. ?

Yes, full ceramic. During that month I could only do a very light wipe or warm water wipe on the bugs. No baths for a month and no use of detailing spray.

Forget about paak not a biggie. Glad to hear you got your charging fixed that is a biggie.

I remember right after I coated my X3 it was torture to not wash. Damn it, I'm gonna go through that in a week or so when I get my MME and coat it.
